(d) (1) A person may not sell, rent, or transfer:

4. another deadly weapon to a minor. (2) A person who violates this subsection is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or a fine not exceeding $1,000 or both.
